Founded in 1999, Tatoosh Seafoods is the distribution arm of two frozen at sea, long line processing vessels in the Bering Sea. Tatoosh Seafoods works with independent owner operated vessels that take pride in their product, and are committed to producing the finest quality seafood that the North Pacific has to offer. Our fishermen’s dedication to quality has earned their fish a reputation as a premium product in U.S., European, and Asian markets. As the sales end of this partnership Tatoosh maintains a strong market for our products so that the fisherman can worry about catching fish.
Tony Cadden founded Tatoosh Seafoods in order to facilitate the need of frozen at sea, longline vessels and expedite their products to market as smoothly and efficiently as possible. With over 35 years spent working in the fishing industry, as a fisherman, tenderman, and seafood trader, Tony has put his focus into working with innovative fisherman, who insist on getting fair market value for their catch.

Mit grew up immersed in the fishing industry and began selling fish out of a red wagon at the age of 7. Mit got his first taste of Alaska on a Salmon tender in Bristol Bay at the age of 14. He subsequently went north every year after through high school and college, fishing for salmon, halibut, pacific cod and black cod.
Captain & Vessel Owner
Scott Hanson is the Captain as well as an owner of the Beauty Bay and has been actively fishing the Bering Sea since 1979. Not only does Scott benefit from the success of his product as a vessel owner, he has a direct hand in the catching and processing of every fish brought on board. His dedication to producing the highest quality frozen at sea Cod the Bering Sea has to offer is second to none.
